What is BTS TinyTan?

BTS TinyTAN are incredibly detailed, chibi-style (miniaturized and cute) animated characters that directly represent the seven members of BTS: RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. They are not just cute drawings; they are sophisticated 3D models designed to perfectly mimic the members’ key movements, facial expressions, and signature traits.

The TinyTAN McDonald’s collaboration is one of the biggest and most exciting licensing successes for the characters! 

Building on the massive global frenzy of the 2021 BTS Meal, this campaign typically features collectible TinyTAN figures in special edition Happy Meals. The figures often showcase iconic looks, such as the “Dynamite” or “MIC Drop” outfits, and have been released in “throwback” and “encore” editions to keep fans collecting. 

These figures are usually blind-boxed, meaning you don’t know which member you’re getting until you open it. This “blind box” excitement, combined with the love for BTS, leads to a massive fan collection effort, with ARMY swapping and searching for their biases and complete sets.
