Me with BTS Poster

More than a fan blog, ArmyBangtanWorld exists as a safe space for people who have found comfort, healing, and motivation through BTS’s music and words.

How I Discovered BTS

I first became aware of BTS in 2017 when they frequently appeared on my Twitter feed. One of my closest friends was a dedicated BTS ARMY and often encouraged me to watch their content, but I did not connect with it at that time.

In 2020, while freelancing and going through a difficult phase in my personal life, I came across BTS’s Carpool Karaoke video. Remembering my friend’s constant recommendations, I decided to finally watch it. That moment changed everything.

The song Mic Drop immediately stood out to me. The confidence, energy, and stage presence felt powerful and authentic. Two members caught my attention instantly, one for his intelligence and the way he spoke, and another for his infectious energy and positivity. That experience pulled me into BTS and started my journey as an ARMY.

BTS Music, Mental Health, and Healing

As I explored more BTS content, I began watching Run BTS, listening closely to their group songs, and later discovered their solo music. Their lyrics, even through English translations, resonated deeply with emotions I struggled to express.

Between 2020 and 2021, I was dealing with severe depression. During this time, BTS’s music became a constant source of comfort. Songs about fear, self-doubt, growth, and hope helped me feel less alone. BTS’s honesty about their struggles made their music feel real and deeply personal.

Their songs did not promise easy answers. Instead, they offered understanding and reassurance, which played an important role in my healing journey.

Attending BTS Concerts and Live Shows

In 2023, I traveled from India to Jakarta to attend two shows of SUGA’s D-Day tour. Hearing those songs live, especially the ones that supported me through my hardest moments, was an emotional and unforgettable experience.

In 2025, I traveled from India to Singapore to attend J-Hope’s Hope on the Stage tour. Watching him perform live felt surreal and deeply meaningful, especially knowing how much his music and energy had once helped me stay grounded.

These experiences reinforced my belief in the emotional impact of music and storytelling.

Why ArmyBangtanWorld Was Created

ArmyBangtanWorld was created because I wanted a dedicated space to talk about BTS in depth. Many people enjoy BTS casually, but for some ARMYs, their music becomes part of personal growth and healing.

As a writer, I naturally analyze BTS lyrics, songwriting, themes, and creative choices. I enjoy exploring how their music communicates emotions, vulnerability, and resilience. BTS inspires me not just through global success but through humility, kindness, discipline, and consistency.

This BTS blog serves as my journal, creative outlet, and reflection space. Every post is written from a place of honesty and respect for BTS and the ARMY community.
